Attention Please: Pussycat Dolls are on a Break Now!
“Pussycat Dolls are not broken up”, said Melody Thornton, one of the Pussycat Dolls. “We are only taking some time off from the spotlight”. Yes, you will not see any live show from them now because all Pussycat Dolls want to take a break from all music activities. Thornton as one of them told to MTV News about the future of this all-girl music group, “It’s like when you’re with your sisters for 24 hours a day and you need to take your own shower”.
Actually PCD is a Pop girl group and dance ensemble which founded by Robin Antin, a famous choreographer. This group was created in 1995 as a burlesque troupe who based in LA, California. Then in 2003, Pussycat Dolls was transformed into a music group. With lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger, then melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt and Carmit Bachar; PCD has been achieved worldwide success from 2005 to 2009.
The hit singles of them; Don’t Cha, Buttons and Stickwitu was delivered PCD into Billboard 200 Chart. After the departure of Carmit Bachar in March 2008, this music group continues their career as a quintet until now. Well, after her statement, Thornton said that all PCD girls will eventually find way back to one another again after they all take a breather.
