There are many artists who want to stop their music in these several years. Lily Allen is a British songstress that has confirmed about her will to stop from music industry that has raised her name. This songstress made a statement in her blog that she won’t be releasing another album and has no plan to renewing her recording contract with EMI if it expires.

The 24-year-old star is often made some controversial statements and her life style is also not too good as a role model for teenagers, but her music career is pretty good. In its Not Alright (her blog), she wrote, “Just so you know, I have not negotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record”. Then again “The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I’m concerned, so I don’t stand to profit from legislation.”

After she posted her announcement, she removed all posts she had made before including the latest post. Lily Allen now is focusing one her new appearance in London theatre production. It is called “Reasons to be Pretty”. Many people think that this is a step that she made to say her view about illegal file sharing on internet. This is not the first time she told about her desire to quit from music career.
